My name is Karsten Roth and I have been connected to music all my life.
As a child/teenager, I was introduced to a new world when I heard Jean-Michel Jarre, Harold Faltermeyer and Paul Hardcastle for the first time.
Later, rock and heavy metal came along, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen, Metallica, Helloween.
Even more influences have been added to date.
My first attempt at music was at school. As part of a project, we were supposed to tell a story with sounds. The result was a collage of sounds put together with a cassette recorder.
In 1992, I bought my first synthesizer, a DX-7, but because I didn't know what to do with it at the time, I sold it again.
In 1995 I started seriously, with a TG-77, a small DJ mixer and a PC with two sound cards, a Terratec Maestro 32 and Maui sampler card. This allowed me to achieve my first successes with friends.
By 2001, I had amassed more and more equipment, know-how and experience and received more and more positive feedback. My music even had a "gig" and everyone was enthusiastic.
Due to changes, the center of my life changed and I decided to put the topic of music aside. But that was a mistake. It continued to work in the background.
I've been active again since 2011 and have tried out and learned a few things since then, as well as producing and privately releasing a few tracks.
